Join us for YOUTH IN ACTION 2012 (YIA12). Hosted by Muscular Dystrophy Canada and sponsored by Canada Safeway, YIA12 will bring together youth and families from across Canada who are affected by neuromuscular disorders to spend a fun, action-packed weekend in Calgary.
YIA12 will be held August 24 to 26, 2012 at the Coast Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre in Calgary, Alberta. Together, you will participate in workshops, hear inspirational speakers, and enjoy a diverse program of events, all while making friends with people from around the country.
Muscular Dystrophy Canada is offering funding to cover the cost of airfare or mileage, and 2 nights of hotel accommodation for youth attendees and their accompanying caregiver/family member. In order to be eligible for the travel grant, you must be a registered client of Muscular Dystrophy Canada and between 15 and 24 years old (by December 31, 2012).
